We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with our friends at Mid Wales Arts for a very special celebration — World Curlew Day on Monday, 21 April, and a whole week of creative activities inspired by the incredible curlew.
The curlew is more than just a bird — it’s a symbol of our shared landscape, a poignant call echoing across the wetlands and hills. It’s a creature of myth, music, and movement — and we’re coming together to honour it through the arts.
ALL WEEK (22–25 April), Mid Wales Arts is hosting a packed programme of FREE workshops and events for all ages. From clay to lino prints, song writing to dance, mosaics to storytelling, each session is designed to connect people to the natural world and the beauty of the curlew.
